The Butcher Shoppe is a neighborhood butcher shop in Pensacola, Florida. This website exists to tell you about the shop — there is no online ordering, no account to create, and no payment taken here. This page explains the little we do collect and how to control it.
The short version
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- The only form on this site is the package order form. It asks for your name, phone number, pickup date and, optionally, an email address — and we use them for one thing: preparing your order.
- We use one analytics tool to count page visits — and only if you agree to it first.
- You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the footer of any page.
Information we collect
Analytics
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It records things like the pages you view, roughly how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and an approximate location based on your IP address. IP anonymisation is switched on, so your full IP address is not stored by us.
If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent. Analytics are switched off by default until you choose otherwise. We use Google Consent Mode, which holds everything in a denied state until you act.
Things we do not do
- No advertising or marketing cookies, and no ad personalisation.
- No tracking of you across other websites.
- No newsletters, accounts, or payment details on this site. The package order form takes no payment — you pay at pickup.
- No selling or sharing of personal information with data brokers.
Package orders
When you send a package order, the details you enter (name, phone, pickup date, optional email, and your package choices) are emailed to the shop through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which passes them to us and does not use them for anything else. We keep the order for as long as we need to fulfil it and handle any follow-up, then it is deleted. Nothing is charged online.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. It never leaves your device.
Changing your mind
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Use the control in the footer of any page to bring the banner back and choose again. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time.
Other services this site relies on
- Fonts — the typefaces on this site are served from our own domain, not from a third party. Loading a page does not send your IP address to any font provider.
- Vercel — our hosting provider, which serves these pages and keeps standard server logs.
- Google Maps — the “Get Directions” links point to Google Maps. Nothing is sent to Google Maps unless you click one, at which point Google’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how it is used, ask for it in a portable format, or withdraw consent you previously gave. If you are in California, you also have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing — which we do not do — and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.
Because this site takes no names or contact details, we usually hold nothing that identifies you personally. If you would like to make a request anyway, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by law.
Keeping data
Analytics records are kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics and are deleted automatically after that. Your consent choice stays in your browser until you clear it or change it.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
